Suzanne is a collaboratively trained family lawyer practicing in Oakville. Through her experience in family law and her background as a human rights advocate, Suzanne has developed a deep understanding of the emotional impact separation and divorce takes on all involved. Suzanne takes special care to develop a strategy tailored to make sure that every client’s immediate and long-term needs are met. Her unique background and experience allows Suzanne to find dynamic solutions for even the most complicated of cases.
Suzanne graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2002. She was called to the bar in New York in 2004 and in Ontario in January 2018 and remains a member of both the New York Bar and the Law Society of Ontario.
Before immigrating to Canada, Suzanne practiced under two of New York City’s top family law lawyers, where she represented clients in contested, uncontested, and collaborative family law matters. She also served as a federal appellate law clerk and worked as a staff attorney at a globally recognized international human rights NGO. Since beginning practice in Oakville, she has focused exclusively on family law. She completed family mediation training at York University. Having seen the benefits of the collaborative practice while in New York, Suzanne completed her collaborative training here in Ontario in September 2020 to continue provide clients with the benefit of the collaborative approach whether they choose the collaborative process or traditional negotiation.
