Dorothy obtained her Juris Doctor degree at the University of Windsor Law School in 2013 and was called to the bar in 2014. Dorothy practices exclusively in family law, and she is dedicated to helping families resolve divorce and separation effectively, expeditiously and receptively.
In addition to successfully representing clients at all levels of Court of first instance in Ontario Dorothy is trained for Collaborative Practice and is dedicated to working with her clients to tailor solutions to their separation that fit their finances, their families, and their lives.
Dorothy is accredited by the Ontario Association of Collaborative Professionals. She is a member of the Halton County Law Association and has served on its board in the past.
Dorothy is continually involved in a number of initiatives, including presenting in Halton’s family court Mandatory Information Program, and spearheading a high-school family law education program in conjunction with the Ontario Justice Education Network.
Prior to practicing law, Dorothy obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Toronto, graduating with distinction. While at law school, Dorothy worked as an editor in Carswell Thomson Reuters’ legal division. She contributed both research and writing to Carswell family law publications.
